Overwatch Season 16 start date is assumedly approaching fast as April comes to a close.
While no exact start date for Season 16, and even an end date for Season 15, there's a trend to be drawn from Overwatch competitive seasons. Especially from the previous two seasons.
Here's when it's expected Overwatch Season 16 will start.

Overwatch Season 16 Start Date Information
Based on previous Overwatch competitive season lengths, it's expected that Overwatch Season 16 will start May 1. Looking at past seasons, Overwatch Seasons 13 and 14 both lasted two months to the date.
Overwatch Season 13
- Start Date: Nov. 1, 2018
- End Date: Dec. 31, 2018
- Start Date: Dec. 31, 2018
- End Date: March 1, 2018
Overwatch Season 15 is then expected to end April 30. A bit of an outlier is the Overwatch Archives seasonal event Storm Rising running through April into the start of May.
It probably won't affect the competitive playlist, but it's something worth taking into consideration.
