Warzone Cheaters Are Finding Ways Around Infinity Ward's Software

Warzone cheaters have slowly started to creep up even after the May 12 two-factor SMS verification addition. Many in the community praised the new program and the increase of shadow bans on hackers' accounts, but it seems the system is stopped working.

There is a new cheat which allows players to use weapons without any type of recoil and it's as difficult to deal with as it is to find. It's usable on both PC and console and it's hard to catch players, as talented ones can control recoil fairly well. But that's still not the main issue.

Infinity Ward originally announced countermeasures for suspected cheaters to be placed in games with other suspected cheaters. Fans called the system questionable as while it'll help discover more cheaters, other players will still suffer in those games.

Cronus Anti-Recoil vs actual recoil.. unbelievable that ppl use this shit in competitions

Warzone Cheaters Are Finding Ways Around Infinity Ward's Software

Reddit user aur0n has pointed out to the community the easy problem of bypassing the SMS two-step options. There's a service that gives players non-shadow banned accounts for $2 apiece, and it can be even cheaper if you buy in bulk. Since these cheaters are spending a large sum of money on cheating scripts, the rather low sum for new accounts is palpable.

Until Infinity Ward and Activision adapt to the new workaround by hackers, it looks like Warzone will continue to see a rise in cheaters.
