Valheim Barley: Where to Find
You can first find Barley in the Plains. You can't eat Barley in this state, so you'll have to process it into flour before you can use it. You can plant barley on your farm with the Cultivator, saving you time and giving you a repeatable source for it. Cultivating barley yields two for each one you plant.
Barley can be turned into Barley Flour with the Windmill. The Windmill with the Artisan's Table after defeating Moder and using the Dragon tear it drops. With the Windmill, you can start processing Barley Flour and make end-game food items. Barley Flour is used to make Bread, Blood Pudding, Lox Meat Pie, and Fish wraps.
These bread items are the best food items you can get in the game. They each last for a ridiculous amount of time and offer great healing, perfect for getting you through the end game dungeons.
