The R700 was recently shown off in a gameplay leak for Modern Warfare's Season 5. This is the same sniper from the fourth Call of Duty. It's no shocker the developers over at Infinity Ward are returning yet another old-time favorite since they have recently added the Galil from CoD: Black Ops, and the Vector from CoD: Black Ops 2 in recent battle passes.
An apparent early look was revealed by BKTOOR, who showed an uncompleted version of the weapon. While it seems the weapon still needs some work, BKTOOR is hopeful the weapon will still arrive in Season 5. As you probably noticed, the R700 was not previewed in the Season 5 trailer like the rest of the weapons.

Either a sniper or marksman hope we see it in S5
For those who remember CoD 4: Modern Warfare the R700 was an absolute beast! The insane damage that could be done with one-shot from the powerful bolt action sniper, may give everyone a new meta to run in Warzone or maybe even have it replace the HDR and AX-50 all together.
Infinity Ward has not yet confirmed nor denied the return of the R700 for the upcoming season, but one thing is for sure, Aug. 5 is definitely worth marking down on your calendars.
