Overwatch World Cup Schedule: When to Watch

The Overwatch World Cup schedule is now available, giving fans a heads up about when to tune into the BlizzCon festivities. Forty two teams will enter the competition, but only 10 will appear during BlizzCon proper. Here's what we know about the schedule so far.

Overwatch World Cup Schedule: When to Watch

Overwatch World Cup competition begins the day before BlizzCon's opening ceremony. Starting Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET, fans will be able to watch the online preliminary matches. These matches will continue until 1:15 a.m. ET as 32 teams are culled from the tournament.

The following day, the main event group stage will start at 3:15 p.m. ET after a 15-minute welcome and pre-show. Play will continue until 11:45 p.m. ET.

On Saturday, the festivities will begin at 1 p.m. ET with the Ceremony of Nations. From there, the quarterfinals will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET and run to 5 p.m. ET. Semifinals will pick up directly thereafter and continue to 8:30 p.m. ET.

The bronze medal match is slated for 8:30 p.m. ET to 10:15 p.m. ET. Finally, from 10:15 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET fans will get to watch the grand finals, culminating in a medal ceremony at midnight.
