Modern Warfare UCD Names might show up when you see your name online. It seems like a bug, but it's actually a placeholder name that can easily be fixed. Here's how to change your name in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare UCD Names
If your username is UCD followed by some random numbers, the game is using your Activision ID as your display name. To fix this, you go to your Activision account and go to Profile. Then select Basic Info and then Activision ID. You can change your Activision ID, but you'll still see your name followed by a string of numbers.
To fix that, you will have to adjust it in game. In Options, you can set "Display Unique ID Numbers" to disabled, and then you won't have to see those numbers anymore.A strange oversight to be sure, but like other hiccups in the game it won't affect your progress.
