FIFA 21 Icon Swaps: What Are Icon Swaps?
Icon Swaps are special events that happen a few times throughout the FUT calendar. During this period, several Icons will be made available for players to acquire through various Squad Building Challenges. The catch for these specific SBCs is that you need certain items known as Player Tokens in order to acquire these ultra rare rewards. These tokens can be acquired through a number of different objectives which often revolve around Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and possibly in the new FUT Friendlies playlist.
FIFA 21 Icon Swaps: When Will They Be Released?
While EA have not officially stated when we can expect the first wave of Icon Swaps to be released, they did say it would happen sometime this month. Given that FUTMAS is also just around the corner, we speculate that they could come out on Wednesday, Dec. 9, following the unveiling of the next Team of The Week, or on Friday, Dec. 11.
