Fallout 76 nuke codes are the ultimate reply in the player arms race, but the question of how and where to find and figure them out is the only impediment to nuclear devastation. Ever wandered past a settlement and thought to yourself "I wish I could drop a weapon of mass destruction on this ramshackle community?" Well now it's entirely possible in Fallout 76.
Nukes are a late-game reward accessed by completing the "I Am Become Death"quest and receiving launch codes. These launch codes can then be used to turn areas of the game world into irradiated wasteland, which can be used both against other players but also to create a blast zone filled with challenging enemies and the accompanying rewards for killing them.
Fallout 76Nuke Codes: How and Where to Figure Them Out
In order to gain access to these codes, as well as the terminal for launching the associated nuclear weapons, there is a general process that must be completed.
This involves:
- Joining the Enclave and gaining access to the Whitespring Bunker
- Completing the "Back to Basic" and "Officer on Deck" missions to enter the
Whitespring Bunker's Command Center
- Taking down a Cargobot to get the Nuclear Keycard
- Defeating high-level enemies (Scorched and Feral Ghoul officers) to get clues and then decrypting them with the Nuclear Keycard
- Reaching the nuke terminal inside the silo site
- Fire when ready and turn a section of the post-apocalyptic wasteland back into an active armageddon
Of course, this is a finicky process which involves a lot of farming. Nuclear keycards are one-use only to determine if the code you found is correct, so it'll involve a lot of running around, gunning down enemies, and then fiddling with keycards. Further, they reset every week, putting a time limit on this adventure.
For those who'd prefer immediate access, Reddit user Waffle_cop has made a website capable of decrypting the clues found off enemies into usable codes.
For those who want the codes immediately, no fuss, the website FalloutBuilds.com has a dedicated page that provides the current week's codes. They don't reset after use, so bomb away.
