Dreepy Evolution, Location, Stats in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Dreepy in Pokemon sword and Shield is one of the many new Pokemon from the Galar Region introduced in latest installment in the Pokemon series for the Nintendo Switch. How does Dreepy evolve, where can it be found, and how are its stats in terms of competitive play?

Dreepy has got to be by FAR the most common Surprise Trade pokemon. The asian territories are breeding the HELL out if that mon.
Ive gotten so many high IV foreign Dreepys, and cannot wait to shiny breed a competitive monster

Dreepy Evolution

Dreepy is the first stage in its dragon themed evolution line. At level 50, Dreepy evolves into Drakloak, who evolves into Dragapult at level 60. While this may seem like a high level cap for a Pokemon's evolution, keep in mind that these are dragon types, and will be incredibly effective in battle when fully evolved.

Dreepy Location

Dreepy is an incredibly rare Pokemon, found only at the Lake of Outrage with an extremely low probability of popping up, the highest encounter rate being at 2 percent. For the best chance at catching Dreepy, head to the Lake of Outrage during a thunderstorm or heavy fog, but be prepared to wait a long time for one to pop up.

Dreepy Stats

Dreepy is a pretty decent Pokemon stats-wise for an unevolved Pokemon, and its definitely worth keeping around for when it evolves into Dragapult.

  • HP: 28
  • Attack: 60
  • Defense: 30
  • Special Attack: 60
  • Special Defense: 30
  • Speed: 82
