Drakloak in Pokemon Sword and Shield is one of the more British-themed Pokemon of the Galar Region, alluding to England's long history with dragons within their medieval-influenced cultured. Where is Drakloak, how does it evolve, and is it a competitively viable Pokemon?

Drakloak Evolution
Drakloak is actually the middle stage in the evolutionary line of Dreepy. After leveling a Dreepy up to level 50, it will evolve into Drakloak, who will evolve further into Dragapult at level 60. If you look closely at Drakloak, you can actually see a Dreepy resting on top of its head.
Drakloak Location
Drakloak is an incredibly rare Pokemon to catch in the wild, with no more than a 2 percent spawn rate at any of the locations in which it resides. It's best to just evolve a Dreepy, but if you're up for the challenge, head over to the Lake of Outrage during a thunderstorm or at least a little bit of overcast.
Drakloak Stats
- HP: 68
- Attack: 80
- Defense: 50
- Special Attack: 60
- Special Defense: 50
- Speed: 102
Drakloak's design is based almost entirely around aerodynamics, so its speed is definitely a key asset when using it in battle. With agility in it' move set to further increase speed, Drakloak can really be a force to be reckoned with.
