Donna Wright Obituary, Death Cause – Donna Jean Wright, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in the comfort of her own home in Urbana, Ohio. She was surrounded by the individuals who meant the most to her in the world at the time of her passing. She was born on November 26th, 1935 in Christiansburg, Ohio, to her parents, Kenneth and LaVern E. (Harmon) Drake. Her birth was the result of a birth that took place on November 26th, 1935.
Donna was a committed member of the United Methodist Church in Terre Haute and adhered to the doctrines of the church. Prior to her retirement from the nursing profession, she worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Memorial Hospital and in a hospice setting. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, being creative in the kitchen, and sewing. These were some of her favorite things to do.
Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Wayne E. Wright; their two daughters, Teresa J. (Dale) Thornton and Susan T. (Mark) Loundenback; their son, Gregory M. (Beth) Tullis; their step daughter, R. Ellen (Steve) Wright Pond; and their grandchildren, Ben (Adrianne) Loudenback, Lucas (Amanda) Thornton, Ross (Janelle) Loudenback, Michael (Kristina) Thornton
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Melvin Tullis; her infant daughter, Mary Annette Tullis; her half-brothers, Danny and Tom Harmon; two special people who were like parents Orval and Nellore Rice and their family; Darlene Rhodes, Janet Insley, and Vivian Brelsford; and dear friends, Frances & Marvin Stevens, & Doris & Donald K. Zerkle. During the funeral service, grandsons Ben, Ross, and Lane Loudenback, Lucas, Michael, and Andrew Thornton, Tanner Artz, and Neil Stevens will serve as pallbearers.
