Animal Crossing Mushrooms are the new seasonal crafting item players can harvest all throughout November.
Nintendo's open-world island-planning sandbox, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, has finally entered what villagers are calling "Mushrooming Season." For the next 30 days, from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, players will be able to find a new crafting material all over their island—mushrooms.
Halloween is here! I hope you make a lot of great memories and have fun tonight. Take care!

Animal Crossing Mushrooms Guide
Mushrooms will only spawn during the last month of autumn—from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30. This is also known independently as the "Mushrooming Season." They only grow around non-fruit-bearing trees such as Hardwood and Cedar, or directly on the stumps of cut trees.
Five mushrooms will spawn each day on the island. However, the maximum amount of mushrooms that can exist on an island is 30. After this, they will stop spawning until the player collects some. New mushrooms will only grow in after the player has listened to Isabelle's broadcast each day. Additionally, any mushrooms not collected at the end of the season will disappear.
Players can find four different types of mushrooms on their island. From common to rarest, they are: Round, Flat, Skinny, Elegant, and Rare. Elegant and Rare mushrooms can sell for 10,000 and 16,000 bells, respectively. Meanwhile, Skinny, Round, and Flat are all within the 200-300 range. They can also be eaten like fruit.
Mushrooms can be used in the following recipes:
- Forest Floor (Skinny x2, Round x2, Rare x1, Flat x2)
- Forest Wall (Skinny x2, Round x2, Flat x2, Elegant x2)
